| Projects > Repindex Repindex Ltd approached Ionsquare with a concept for a text archival and analysis tool. We evaluated the idea, conducted research to determine the best available technologies for this project, designed the system and implemented it from the ground up. In addition to this, we helped Repindex select the optimal server hardware and hosting provider and administered the production server. As part of the project, Ionsquare worked with Java server technologies for the web front-end and graphical output and an SQL database for categorizing and archiving the large volumes of article data. We also created an efficient object oriented layer between the front-end and the database and implemented a number of optimizations, including intermediate caching of results to speed up common queries. "After just a few minutes discussion with the Ionsquare developer it was clear that he had grasped our difficult conceptual scheme immediately.
