| Projects > Playabit Picotique Ltd is a Cambridge, UK based company which works on the production and marketing of ingenious mobile software applications. We worked together with Picotique to design and develop their game portal together with a set of easy to play casino style mobile games. Usability, security and speed to market were the primary decision making factors. They were taken into account throughout the project, starting from the logo design and site structure all the way through to delivery and billing. For example, a number of billing options were considered together with the Picotique team. After conducting relevant research and taking the ease of use, coverage and future expansion into account, we finally settled on reverse SMS billing. Ionsquare worked with both Java server and mobile technologies on this project. We also designed the SQL database and integrated existing components for easy device recognition and WAP OTA delivery. Finally, we took part in negotiations with SMS aggregators and hosting providers to deliver the most cost efficient solution to our clients. The service is now in beta.
